      That's right! It takes time because we have to adjust each step of the process, but it really feels good when it's done.

    I saw no tightening of rear motor bolts (to frame) and then the checking of front motor mounts for need of shimming? Also noticed the transmission was not solidly attached to motor. Is this common building technique in Japan?

    Also I use the installation of an inner primary to align the transmission with the motor. Once the inner is bolted to both motor and transmission, I them tighten the motor and transmission to the frame…once that is done, you can remove the inner primary.this will give you a first stage alignment guide. I also would like to encourage a rotational bolt tightening of both the transmission and motor to the frame….is this necessary (?)… I don’t know, but it is good practice!

      I didn't show all of it, but I'm tightening it up properly lol.
      If the primary was a stock closed one, I would assemble it exactly as it is, but in this case it is an open primary and I can't adjust the belt unless I can move it back and forth.
